FLYING FISHBONE
Flying Fishbone is #8 of the 21 Best Beach Restaurants Around the World for good reason. It’s an expensive taxi ride from the high rise hotels, $33 each way but well worth the expense! It is truly the most romantic restaurant I’ve found on the island. You dine against the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset, magically replaced by a starry sky and the soft, romantic light cast by tiki torches and table lanterns. There are tables literally in the water! There are flip flop stands next to the tables because your feet are in the water! The service was impeccable!
My editor and myself had the 1/2 Lobster Tale and Shrimp. It came with sun dried tomato risotto but I substituted it for the herb risotto. It was EXCELLENT! The lobster was tender and juicy and the shrimp were good but the herb risotto was light,creamy and heavenly and a perfect compliment. The staff were extremely attentive!
