De Palm Island

There’s so many things you can do on this island!

De Palm Island is a private island off the south coast, a short ferry ride from the industrial side of the island. Featured as Aruba’s only all-inclusive destination offering something for everyone. Here you get snorkeling, relaxing, zip line, air jumping, Blue Parrotfish Water Park with six water slides, banana boat rides, salsa dancing, beach activities such as volleyball, basketball, foosball and more! You can choose a full day or half day on the island. Included in your admission price is food and open bar.You arrive about 10:30 on the island and eat breakfast. They have cereal, fruit, eggs, sausage, toast and all types of juices. Then on to the activities. They have many to choose from.

Beach – Lounge in the sun to your heart’s content or splash about in the crystalline, turquoise water that surrounds the island. Beach chairs and palapas for shade are included but bring your own towel. Because it is a coral island, the beach is very rocky so make sure you bring water shoes.

Snorkeling – The coral reef just off De Palm Island is one of Aruba’s most spectacular snorkel sites. There’s no easier way to catch a glimpse of the spectacular marine life of the Caribbean, and in particular, the stunning blue parrotfish that are endemic to Aruba. We saw a lot more fish here than on other snorkeling tours. You can snorkel in both waist-high and deeper waters. All snorkel gear is provided, as well as instruction.

Zipline – This was sooo much fun! Zip 446 feet (136 m) across De Palm Island from 33 feet (10 m) in the air and land safely on the beach where other activities are waiting for you. Or go back and zip as many times as you like. Min. 6 years old and 40″ tall. Min. weigh 45 lbs, max. weigh 250 lbs.

Banana Boat Rides – This also was sooo much fun! My editor fell off of the banana boat! It was so much fun! Beat the heat and ride the waves, hop on a banana boat for a splashing and thrilling adventure.

Water Park – This was a blast! Their Blue Parrotfish Water Park features six water slides some open and some closed.

Air-Jumpers – This was like being in a safety harness while on a trampoline. It’s a great way to jump high, and if you’re daring, even attempt a somersault!

All-Inclusive Food & Beverage – Enjoy breakfast & lunch buffet featuring local and Caribbean fare, or grab a snack from the grill, like a hamburger, hot dog or chicken tenders. And enjoy a cocktail, beer or soft drink from our open bar. For the lunch buffet, we got there at 2:15 and there was very little food left to choose from. Luckily the grill was open until 4pm
